It was a perfect day driving through the White Mountains On the way up to Vermont for some awesome mountain biking at Kingdom Trails. I wanted to check out the famous lupines in Sugar Hill since I had never seen them. I'm sure glad we took that detour because it was absolutely beautiful to see these breathtaking flowers with some of my favorite mountains in the background...Cannon & Lafayette. We took exit 38 off 93 and followed route 117 past Polly's Pancake Parlor and looped back to the highway. Its worth the drive!

A perfect weekend in the White Mountains spent camping, hiking, canoeing, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Mt. Jackson & Mt. Pierce make #22 and #23 on the 4,000 footer list. We have 25 more mountains to climb, and then we will have reached all 48 of the highest peaks in NH. Enjoying every minute of this unforgettably beautiful journey.
