- 1 Package or 1 lb Brussels Sprouts
- 3 Strips of Bacon
- 2 Tbls Stone Ground Mustard
- 1 Tbl Sweet and Hot Mustard (this stuff is the best! Blackwater Mustard)
- Salt & Pepper
- Lemon Juice
Cut Brussels Sprouts in half, lightly steam until they are pierce-able with a fork but not soft. In the meantime, dice bacon into pieces and sauté until crispy. Add brussels sprouts to the pan with bacon, mix in mustards, a few pinches of salt and a dash of pepper. Cook until brussels sprouts are fork tender. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Sometimes I like to add a little sweetness to this dish with a tablespoon of maple syrup, or serve along already sweet enough Pork with Pears & Caramelized Onions.
